During the summer traffic is often the biggest problem for tourists who are not used to traffic conditions in Croatia.
If you are driving trough Karlovac try to do it during the night.
Brela settlement is situated about 15 km north-west from
Makarska and 45 km south-east from Split.
It is worth mentioning that these 5 kilometers of the Adriatic coast are separated from Europe and the rest of the world with only 50 km necessary to reach the railway station in Split and about 70 km to the Airport of Split.

by car - from Austria and Hungary via Zagreb and Split, and from Italy via Rijeka and Split.

by bus - from all big cities in Croatia via Split.

by train - from Zagreb to Split and then by bus.

by plain - to Split Airport and then by bus.

by ferry - from Rijeka and Ancona (Italy) to Split harbour and then by bus.
