TRIBUNJ (43° 45'N;15° 45'E), village

 (population  cca. 1500-2000) 

and  harbour  with beautifull  marina 

1.2M west of Vodice.

Approach: Landmarks: off Sv Nikola church on the hill (51 m) NW of the village; the round red and black tower with a column and gallery surmounted by two black spheres on Bacvica reef; the green column (green light) in the middle of the mole in the harbour.

The harbour is approached from SE but small vessels may pass through the narrow passage between the islets of Logorun and Lukovnik, S of the harbour. Care should be taken of the three shoals (2, 2.5 and 6.5 m) W of the harbour and of the shoal E of it.

Facilities: Post office and medical service. Provisions and water available. 

Tribunj is a fascinating small fishing village, which is located between Zadar and Sibenik  (about 2 km west from Vodice.)

The fragrance of evergreen stone-pines is the best medicine for asthma or bronchitis.
In this tranquil village you will have great and relaxing holiday.

 e.There are restaurants, caffe  bars,  pizzerias,  supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher etc. Tribunj is an excellent starting point for excursions, the cities Zadar,  Trogir and Split are only  about 1 hour by car away.There are two national parks in the vicinity: KRKA WATERFALLS and KORNATI ISLES, both well worth your visit. Turistic Vodice is 2 km away. In Vodice you will find everything a turistic resort can offer you: discotheques, nightclubs, hotels etc.

Tribunj is old Dalmatian place with classic stone houses and beautiful church on main square.
He is popular for any kind of touristic vacation, with charm note and excelent blue sea (one of the cleanest on our Adriatic Sea)

Tribunj with his nearest places, like Murter & Vodice have all for make your summer 2003 completely diferent then last ones.
Tribunj also have a safe marina (Reception, exchange office, toilets and showers, laundry service, repair shop, 40 t travel lift, mast crane, parking lot. The nearest gas station is in Vodice (1.5 Nm).

Tribunj have a few beaches, stoned, or sand, few of them is in Tribunj and one of them in nearest village connected with road - Sovlje.


The sports and recreation opportunities of Tribunj include tennis, boccia, indoor football, yachting and diving schools.

Tribunj has the largest fishing fleet in central Dalmatia; when fishermen return from the sea, the promenade of Tribunj turns into a shop window offering fresh fish and other catch, contributing thus to a special atmosphere of this town. The offer of high-quality fish, mussels and crabs have made Tribunj a famous resort; the local speciality is fish ragout with polenta. Traditional feasts, the Tribunj Night and Fishermen's Night, are organized in the season.

This place has a real charming note,you feel bewitched through its beauty.
The oldest part of the fishing village is spreaded on a small island, connected with the land through the old stone bridge. 

First week in august - every year - traditional donkey race. This is a most popular race in Croatia. That night in Tribunj 10 000 people have a good fun, lot of dancing, live music, eating and drinking traditional dalmatian food and drinks.Traditional feasts, the Tribunj Night and Fishermen's Night, are organized during the summer season

The view from hill is beautiful. 
The sunset is absolutely fantastic, which is a good enough reason to climb the hill.
Tribunj has a comfort private accommodation, houses and villas, but has still kept its originality.
The sea is crystal clear .Its a pleasure to swim and a real paradise for divers.
