Fighting the Fights!

 

 

Yea I know.. stupid title, but I had to put something right?

Anyway, On this page I placed a log of an actually fight. Thank you Morta for allowing me to show both sides of the fight. On the left side of the screen will be the fight seen from my side, and on the right side will be from Morta's side. I have removed some things from the logs, like where the script is showing the time, and some other non important things.. but the actual fight was left untouched. I'll try to coordinate both sides so that what you're reading at the left side will match what was being done by the right side at that same time. (so sorry for the big gaps... some people stand in the same spot for a long time while others in that time sweep the whole zone).

 

I have added my personal comments and explanations about this fight. From this you'll see what was done at what time and what (maybe) should have been done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see Morta decided to wait for the tick inside the

zone, while I'm still sleeping in front of the zone. On the Tick

we start the fight. Good tactic by Morta is that when the fight starts he'll have a fresh sanctuary spell on him, so it will last longer.

 

Personally I think that he chose a wrong kit, in his regen kit he has around 1.7k HP and 1.7k MN, but as I said before, PK is not about how much HP you have, it's about mana!

My first mistake, changing to a MR/DR kit (I forgot that I'm

fighting against a C/A/D), now I'm starting my search, I'm

He was the one that ran away first, but he's coming back and

since I was slow at this moment he took the advantage and

circled me first (but since he doesn't have lots of HP left he

Unlike Morta I don't like fighting with 500HP, so while

thinking that he managed to escape me I heal up, but as soon

as I did that he found me and attacked again. But since I

have lots of HP and he only has 500 he'll be the one to flee.

And he will flee even before I get a chance to circle him, so

now he has to wait for his "circle lag" to pass and I'm free

to attack him.

But as you can see I didn't take that advantage, I was too

slow and he managed to escape. But if I did catch him when

he only had 450HP he would probably start panicking.

When running away from your enemy get the hell out of the

fighting area, than heal once, and move again! Than heal

again.. the trick is to keep moving! Now when I'm healed

The luck was on his side this time. There wasn't much time 

until the tick, so I didn't do anything.

 

Meanwhile morta healed up, and thats a smart move, now he

can try and take the advantage of being faster. (Well, so far

he was much faster than me.)

 

 

 

 

Before I change to my fighting kit I heal up, I have about 200

HP's more in my mana kit than in my fighting kit

 

After the tick I change to my MR/DR kit (again the same

mistake, I keep forgetting that I'm fighting against a C/A/D)

Oh well... we learn from our mistakes...

 

Morta also changes to his MR/DR kit, and the hunt

continues. He's searching for me, and I'm searching for him!

As you can see we saw each other on scout lots of times,

but when I got to the place where I saw him he was already

gone. Same thing happens to Morta too, he sees me on scout

but by the time he gets to where he saw me I'm gone. Don't

worry that happens a lot! It just goes to show you how fast

people really are in PK.

 

 

Well.. finally I caught up with him, and I was the one that

591HP left and he runs away... That's what I call a high 

wimp.. but what's the use of it? If his wimp was a bit lower

he could have circled me again!

 

 

Anyway... while I'm waiting for my "circle lag" to pass he

manages to come back and circle me again. And than he

escapes again, but this time he has to wait for the "circle

lag" to pass, and I still have plenty of HP to continue this 

fight!

I know that he doesn't have lots of HP left, I saw him flee

when he was on "mutilated". He has the advantage because

I have to wait for the "circle lag" to pass, but when it does

Morta manages to escape and he heals up. First bad thing he

did was that he only healed himself to 500HP (again). and

another mistake was that he healed 3 times in the same

room. Luckily for him, I wasn't around (this time).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So with his HP healed he's back in the game, the hunt is On!

And he manages to find me first! But since he didn't heal up

Searching for your foe is never an easy task, especially if 

your foe doesn't want to be found. Morta has seen me flee,

so he knows that I'm low on HP and that I'm trying to heal

up somewhere, so it's very important for him to find me

before I manage to heal up!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are only several seconds left in this tick, so we both

change to our regen kits. i change to my mana kit, and he

changes to his HP/MN kit. While waiting for the tick I'm

out there searching for him with my Elemental Cannon spell

and since he doesn't have any MR right now he will be

screwed if I get him!

I'm left with 300HP, I know that he is close to dying!

Now.. should I risk it and attack or heal up? If I heal up

he'll probably run away!

 

Well... with 300Hp I can survive another circle, (and I know

because I know that my foe is in his MR/DR kit, and in his

last attack he stabbed me for around 250HP. I decided to

risk it and attack... and as you can see it's a good thing that

I did.. I won!
