Kapara is a plant of the
hot Mediterranean, often found on walls of old Dalmatian houses. It blossoms
and blooms from may to september. A beautiful delicate flower lasts a very
short time; it blooms at sunset, lures insects with its inscense, which
peaks at dawn time, and withers away in the morning sun's haze.
The buds of kapara are
made into a renowned mediterranean delicacy. |
